Step 1
Top tip: Whenever creating a style it is essential to prep your hair with the correct products to give it the best chance of lasting the night.
Mist your hair using ghd root lift spray directly onto the roots and work a few pumps of ghd straight and tame cream to mid length and ends. These products will also protect your hair from heat styling.
Step 2
Place hair in a low side parting, don't be afraid of placing your parting over slightly more than usual as a deep side parting is bang on trend for the party season. Dry hair using the ghd air hairdryer and a ghd natural bristle brush, starting at the nape. Lift the brush at the root for extra volume.
Step 3
Beginning at the sides, take horizontal sections and mist lightly with ghd curl hold spray. Place your ghd styler near the root, close gently and rotate 180°. Glide the styler down the hair, feeding the hair through as you work towards the ends. Repeat this technique on the opposite side.
Step 4
Now working at the nape, place the styler in horizontally at the root area and rotate 360°, glide through the hair keeping the hair fed through flat. Rotating the styler more will create a tighter curl which will help keep the style on longer lengths of the hair. Continue this technique upwards towards the crown to complete the back section.
Step 5
Now all the hair has been curled dress out the waves using your fingers, use a ghd detangling comb to smooth and shape. Using ghd smooth and Finish serum through the mid lengths and ends will help de-frizz your hair and create a glass like finish to your style.
To smooth back your hair on one side use the ghd oval dressing brush for brilliant smoothness. Secure the section of hair behind the ear using curby grips allowing a top layer of hair to fall down and cover the grips.
