After a whirlwind of speculation about who's playing who, the cast of Suicide Squad has just been announced and the star power is out of control!
Jared Leto is slated to play The Joker in the film adaptation of the popular DC comic book, while Will Smith has landed the part of Deadshot.
Tom Hardy has been named as the role of Rick Flagg and will join the ever-stunningMargot Robbie as Harley Quinn.
Boomerang will be played by Unbroken's Jai Courtney and none other than the model of the moment, Cara Delevingne, will be portraying the Enchantress on the big screen.
The flick will be directed by David Ayer and produced by Charles Roven and Richard Suckle.
Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are teaming up once again as executive producers on the highly anticipated feature film.
Production is due to begin this coming April in Toronto with a tentative release date of Aug. 5, 2016. Mark your calendars, people!
The outlet is also reporting that Jesse Eisenberg is currently in talks to reprise his role as Lex Luthor in the film, he first plays the character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet. Only time will tell...
Execs also have yet to cast the Amanda Waller, the character who oversees the team of supervillains, but have allegedly set their eyes on Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer andOprah Winfrey.
