It seems like every famous woman in Hollywood appeared in Taylor Swift 's music video for "Bad Blood"...except Kendall Jenner. As a member of T.Swift's powerhouse crew, we were surprised to see—or not see—the Keeping Up With the Kardashian star in the highly anticipated video, but now we know why!
A source tells E! News exclusively that while Kendall was invited personally to appear in the star-studded video, she just "couldn't do it because she had an out-of-town commitment on shoot day."
The source adds, "She was bummed she couldn't but loved the video."
The FOMO must have been seriously real because after finally seeing the video after countless posters, it more than met our expectations! But Kendall's absence is understandable—a prior commitment is a prior commitment!
However, fans might have been disappointed to see that Khloé Kardashian was also absent from Sunday's Billboard Music Awards. Sadly, her absence is for a much sadder reason. Khloé originally had been scheduled to introduce Kanye West along with Kendall and Kylie Jenner but pulled out at the last minute after learning of rapper Chinx's death.

In addition to her friend's passing, the airing of her stepfather's special on E! also proved difficult for the reality TV star. "Between the special coming out and his death, it was a real hard day for her," a source tells E! News exclusively. "She was too distraught."
Chinx, whose real name is Lionel Pickens, was killed in drive-by shooting in Queens, New York, Sunday morning. He was 31.
"There are no arrests at this time. The investigation is ongoing," the NYPD told E! News.
A member of French Montana's Coke Boys record label, Chinx Instagrammed that he would be making a club appearance Saturday night in Brooklyn. He was known for songs such as "Feelings" and "Bodies."
It might have been for the best that Khloé skipped the BBMAs, as Kendall and Kyliedid not receive a warm reception upon taking the stage. Although they only briefly addressed the audience, they received boos and jeers from the people in the crowd. But Kim Kardashian's kid sisters weren't distracted and stuck to the script!
"It's an honor to introduce this great artist: A friend, an inspiration, a brother and now, a doctor," Kylie said, with Kendall adding, "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Kanye West!"
